"My colleagues, they study artificial intelligence; me, I study natural stupidity." - Tversky
I'm with Tversky.
I study, and help fix
'natural stupidity' in the form of
entirely-avoidable self-inflicted wounds
The primary form of this that I see in organizations:
🔴 RATIONALIZING AWAY OBVIOUS PROBLEMS 🔴
Which of these
are you and your org
ignoring or rationalizing away?
→ Bloated teams
→ Cultural malaise
→ Toxic employees
→ A lack of process
→ Outdated systems
→ Misplaced/bad bets
→ Bad M&A integration
→ Competitor strengths
→ Unaccountable teams
→ Poorly managed budgets
→ Lack of strategic direction
→ Missed operational metrics
→ An unprofitable product line
→ Underperforming employees
→ Poorly administrated systems
→ Lack of true product differentiation
Rationalizing these away
instead of owning them outright
and addressing them expeditiously
is stupid...but it comes naturally to us,
and is something AI just does not fix...(yet).
Artificial Intelligence
loses to this kind of
Natural Stupidity.

🟩🟩🟩🟩 ACTION 🟩🟩🟩🟩
I run diagnostics for my clients' organizations,
collecting data to cut through the rationalizing BS.
Data makes unpopular decisions
or difficult actions
a bit easier.
and feel a neutral outside party
running a diagnostic could help your org...
▶️ REACH OUT ◀️
...and we can discuss what that would look like.
